This is the second film in a series by The Fableists who are on a crusade to change the way we shop, improve the lives of those who make the clothes and generally make the planet a better place to be for our kids.

Sunuva Beach Blog
TheMiniOne features on Sunuva’s highly desirable beach blog
She is wearing their Moroccon Rash Vest  and matching bikini pants - which not only looked amazing but were a God send! As it meant I wasn’t stressing about sunscreen every 10 mins, as I knew she was protected -  which meant she could just run around and have fun in the sun.
Shades are from Paxley which have to be the coolest kids sunglasses on the planet, but also give 100% UV protection to delicate eyes. Current fav is the Fairfax in Cyan/White Fairfax.
Beach essentials sorted.

GAP KIDS SS14

The Gap Kids Summer collection has been seeping in gradually over the last week or so. We reckon it won’t be on the rails long, as its a knock out collection.

A sign of things to come from Rebekka Bay - read more here

Classic pieces in beautiful blues, we love the washed out denim and dip-dyed pieces. Don’t miss the softest Chambray and pastel ice cream colour block collections.

It will fly out so grab it.

Tootsa Macginty

The seductively named Coney Island Denim dress is top of our summer hit list.

A Stateside cool stone washed denim dress that, with a little supervision girls can customise themselves, with the sweet set of stickers included.

Genius.

The Sun is out. Double Whoop!

…which has focused our minds sharply on Summer! We are thinking about pretty summer dresses, and they don’t come much prettier than this Flutter Dress by Sunuva with Sunhat to match.

When temperatures do rise, check out Sunuva rash vests (quick dry and UPF 50+) for protective fun in the sun.

Oh!! Almost forgot…  don’t miss the matching boys and girls ‘Siblings' range of swim and beach ware

Sneak Peak at SS14 Kids Collection by GAP

We can 100% confirm the #SS14 #Kids Collection is to dye-for!!

It confirms Rebekka Bay’s inherent understanding of what Gap is all about, and why we the consumer have loved it decade after decade.

She has delved into the archives and given old school Gap items a gentle tweak - a little Scandi modernises classic timeless American preppy style.

Our picks for the kids are the
Dip-dye denim & indigo blues that capture the essence of long summers on a sandy Hampton’s beach. Plus echo all the beautiful blues we’re seeing coming off the runways at NY, London, Milan and now Paris.

Bring on its launch in May!

In the meantime, we will post our edit of the collection soon.

#LFW Trends for Kids #Metallics

Metallics were big news at LFW and continue into MFW with those awesome MaxMara gold boots to gold metallic foreheads at Simone Rocha. The ever sexy tux gets an update in gold metallic from Blumarine and we love FelderFelder’s Tux in metallic black (FelderFelder)

Our favourite metallics though, are the soft-shimmery-bubblegum-pinky/gold hues seen at Ashish Gupta and PPQ - love love love this futuristic shade for the summer.

Girls can quickly channel this trend with these METALLIC PLAIN BROGUES in a cracked bubblegummy coloured leather from Pom D’api available from Little Fashion Gallery Totally bang on.

LFW AW14 influencing your kids wardrobe
London Fashion Week has come and gone till Sept, but boy did we enjoy a flurry of Shows for AW14 -  Sibling to Rocha to Jordan to Giles we love ‘em all.
At Giles - he gave us all a Wool + The Gang hat (*thank you) which EVERYONE was wearing  - from Brix from Start to Imran Ahmed from BoF to Daisy + Portia to Cara herself as she selfied down the catwalk, before turning the camera on us.
If you fancy injecting a little Giles into your kids wardrobe than check out the famous Boris Hat from Indikidual. He’s been around a while now, the original in black is still available.  But we loving his current re-incarnation is a covetable zingy bright yellow for Spring. Available from Kyna Boutique
